The Crocodile Blues by Coleman Polhemus - review
The Crocodile Blues by Coleman Polhemus
What is WITH all the crocodile books this year? Daffodil, Crocodile. Guji Guji. Alligator Boy. I'd Really Like to Eat a Child. I, Crocodile. Love 'em! This one, nearly wordless and done in 3 colors, is a graphic illustration dream - its nocturnal shenanigans are rendered in a style that is minimalist yet expressive, surreal and yet perfectly understandable. Plus there's a cockatoo!
